Initial Teacher Training with Unity Teaching School Hub

Unity Teaching School Hub is proud to work in collaboration with CTSN SCITT, an accredited teacher training provider with outstanding Ofsted inspection gradings, high quality school placements and committed and professional mentors. CTSN SCITT are well established providers of ITT (Initial Teacher Training) and respected in our local area.

Unity Teaching School Hub, as a Lead Partner will recruit, train, and retain excellent candidates into teaching to meet the educational needs of the area. Trainee teachers will undertake most of their training within a school environment in one of our supportive and well-established school partners with a training day each week led by our experienced facilitators to learn the theory of teaching. Trainees can also undertake a PGCE alongside their QTS Teacher Training course, and in some courses, we can offer flexible training routes to support those returning to work or pursuing a career change.

Unity Teaching School Hub is one of 87 Teaching School Hubs in the country designated by the Department for Education to delivery high quality teacher training and development. We are committed to training throughout a teachers’ career and have an excellent reputation for delivery such as through the Early Career Programme for teachers in their first two years of teaching and National Professional Qualifications for teachers ready to take the next step in their career or develop their skills further. This puts us in an excellent position to lead teacher training and support you throughout your career.
